The Exchange Club of Muskogee works to respond to numerous local charities, community problems, school needs, and other request for donations. We want to be there, when we can for our community with the special fund. Over $1,000,000 has been raised and donated to various charities and organizations within our community Thank you for your support.
Nearly 700,000 children experience abuse or neglect each year. Instead of playing with neighbors and making happy family memories, they’re attending court hearings, adjusting to new foster homes and transitioning to new schools. That’s a heavy burden for a child to carry. With a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) or guardian ad litem (GAL) volunteer dedicated to their case, America’s most vulnerable children will have someone speaking up for their best interests. With your support, more children will have the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home.
Kids’ Space responds to reports of child abuse as part of a multi-disciplinary team of experts. Together, we investigate alleged abuse, conduct forensic interviews, provide family advocacy, reduce trauma and identify resources so that children and families may begin the healing process.
Nationally, the Exchange Club's primary project is child abuse prevention. Locally, the Muskogee chapter has chosen to support Muskogee agencies dealing with child abuse issues, terminally ill children, and organizations supporting youth betterment programs.
C.A.S.A., Court Appointed Special Advocate program is a non-profit organization whose mission is to recruit, screen, train and supervise community volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children.
Kids Space, the Muskogee County Child Advocacy Center, is a child-friendly facility providing a wide variety of services to abused & neglected children and their non-offending parent.
We promote pride in our country, appreciation for the freedoms granted to American citizens, and gratitude to the men and women who serve/have served in the Armed Forces.
Whether it’s clearing trash in a city wide cleanup, collecting gifts for children who will do without during the holidays, or visiting an elderly home, we identify opportunities within our community and offer assistance to fill gaps in services.
We sponsor multiple programs that encourage the betterment of our youth through guidance, college scholarships and service recognition. Exchange is making a difference for America’s youngest generations.
The Prevention of Child Abuse
Whether it is participating in our fundraising efforts or volunteering with local organizations, it is our main mission to support the prevention of child abuse. “Believe in the Blue” is our annual national campaign conducted in April, in observance of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
